SCBS has been utilizing infrared remote trail cameras (the type normally used for scouting) to monitor wildlife usage at water developments. This work is important to gauge the effect that our water developments are having on wildlife conservation, desert bighorn sheep in particular. These cameras need to have the batteries and memory cards changed frequently so that we do not have any gaps in data. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to help establish and maintain these trail cameras please contact Bob Burke. If you are not able to perform field work but would like to help we also could use a few volunteers to review and catalog all of the photos.
